Jennifer Boese

Overview

Jennifer is a highly successful public policy, legislative, advocacy and political affairs leader, including working in both the state and federal government as well as the private sector. She has over 20 years of public policy and government relations experience with well over half of her career spent dedicated to health care policy and the health care industry. This has afforded her a deep understanding of the health care market and environment, health care organizations and health care stakeholders.

Her role at CLA is to provide thought leadership, policy analysis and strategic insights to health care providers across the continuum related to the industry's ongoing transformation towards value. A key focus of that work is on market innovations and emerging payment models. Her goal is to help CLA clients navigate and thrive in an increasingly dynamic health care environment.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has successfully advocated both at the state and federal levels on a host of issues. Over her career, her focus areas have spanned corporate, nonprofit and tax policy to health care, including Medicare and Medicaid policies, the Affordable Care Act and 340B to name a few. Her work frequently puts her in touch with Congress, Agency officials, and industry stakeholders.

She has been frequently called upon to create and design new structures, approaches and programs with the goal of providing cohesion and a clear line of sight to organizational goals. She thrives in this capacity, as it allows her to think globally, design locally and utilize her creativity and innovation.

Jennifer is highly skilled in persuasive communications and public speaking, and enjoys engaging and empowering others to work towards a common mission. She has presented in Wisconsin and nationally hundreds of times over the course of her career.
