11 a.m. – noon — GASB update

A focused overview of recent GASB standards and what state and local governments need to know to prepare for updated financial reporting models, disclosures, and implementation timelines.

This session offers practical insights to help participants recognize risks early and promote stronger accountability within their organizations.

2:55 – 3:45 p.m. — Building Better Teams

Great teams don’t happen by accident. This session explores the everyday forces that make a team “click”—trust, clarity, and accountability—and how leaders can create the conditions for people to do their best work. You’ll leave with simple rituals and tools to apply immediately to your teams to help them collaborate better, perform with consistency, and translate purpose into results.
