Overview
As a Principal in CLA’s Capital Charm Region (Washington, DC–Baltimore), I partner with nonprofit organizations to help them strengthen financial stewardship, enhance transparency, and support long-term sustainability. My commitment to the sector was shaped early in my career through experience at a Big 4 firm, where I developed a strong technical foundation that continues to inform my practical, solutions-focused approach.
I specialize in serving arts and culture organizations, along with associations, foundations, and social service organizations, and serve as the Mid-Atlantic arts and culture sector leader. I work closely with boards, executive leadership, and finance teams to address complex financial and regulatory matters while keeping mission and impact front and center.
Nationally, I serve as Team Captain for CLA’s Compliance That Adds Value initiative, helping advance a modern approach to compliance that goes beyond meeting basic requirements. Through this work, I focus on aligning compliance with insights in a timely manner—so organizations can use it as a tool to drive clarity, efficiency, and confidence.
Building trusted, long-term client relationships is central to my work. As a Certified Public Accountant licensed in both Virginia and Maryland, I am dedicated to helping organizations navigate increasingly complex financial landscapes with confidence, integrity, and transparency at every step.
