Clayton Bland


Clayton received a B.A. from the University of California Santa Barbara, with majors in Business Economics and History. He holds a Series 7, Series 63 and Series 65.


Clayton has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry. His upbringing was steeped in the financial markets-his father was an auditor at the audit, tax and advisory firm KPMG for nearly 40 years. Clayton began his career with J.P. Morgan in 1999 working in the firms Century City office in SouthernCalifornia. He was a member of the Investment Banking Private Client Services Team that specialized in wealth advisory for the firm’s corporate executive clients. During his nearly 10 years in Los Angeles, he worked on a broad spectrum of actionable ideas serving high net worth individuals. In 2008, he transitioned to the Northwest to open and grow the J.P. Morgan Securities office in Seattle.  

Clayton joined CLA Wealth Advisory in June of 2015 and currently leads the Weatlh Advisory practice for the west coast
