St. Louis — July 18, 2013 — CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), ranked as one of the nation’s largest certified public accounting and consulting firms, today announced Steven Howell has joined the St. Louis office as a reimbursement director in the firm’s local and national health care practice.
Howell has more than 20 years of reimbursement experience and specializes in regulatory reporting and compliance, Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting, and Medicare appeals and re-openings. Most recently he worked as a reimbursement manager for Christus Dubuis Health System in Houston, Texas. Howell’s background also includes working in the public accounting sector as a reimbursement consultant performing many cost reporting and reimbursement consulting services. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Mo.
