Kiely Strohmaier, a CliftonLarsonAllen staff accountant, has been honored with the Elijah Watt Sells Award given by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Moses Lake, Washington — May 11, 2012 — CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), ranked as one of the nation’s top 10 certified public accounting and consulting firms, today announced Kiely Strohmaier has been honored with the Elijah Watt Sells Award given by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
The Elijah Watt Sells Award recognizes CPA candidates who:
- Obtain a cumulative average score above 95.50 across all four sections of the Uniform CPA Examination
- Complete testing during the previous calendar year
- Pass all four sections of the exam on their first attempt
Strohmaier joined CLA in January 2012, and is a staff accountant in the Moses Lake office. She is a graduate of the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and Gonzaga University with a master’s degree in accountancy. A native of Lind, Washington, Strohmaier currently resides in Moses Lake.

The Elijah Watt Sells Award was established by the AICPA to recognize outstanding performance on the Uniform CPA Examination. Thirty-seven of more than 90,000 candidates who took the exam in 2011 received the award.
