Join us for an interactive roundtable exploring how effective governance helps nonprofit boards guide their organizations through change while staying mission-focused.
Participants will examine the board’s role in setting strategic direction, overseeing risk, and fulfilling fiduciary responsibilities, with a practical focus on governance policies, financial oversight, and decision-making tools.
Through discussion, case examples, and hands-on activities, attendees will learn how boards can use clear roles, strong culture, and actionable metrics to navigate uncertainty, support leadership transitions, and steward their organizations responsibility through growth, change, or transition.
At the end of this session, you’ll be able to:
- Identify key nonprofit governance policies and assess their implementation through board review, disclosures, and documented oversight
- Recall critical board-level financial metrics and use dashboard indicators to facilitate timely, mission-driven decisions by the board
- Recognize governance risks during times of transition and identify suitable board actions for continuity and mission alignment
