Speakers
This webinar will open with a manufacturing case study based on a value-added revenue and capacity analysis. The case study will show how utilizing capacity drives profitability in manufacturing.
We’ll then discuss considerations that build value in a manufacturing business. Quantitative topics will include value-added revenue, capacity management, cash flow, and the connection between output and earnings. Qualitative topics will include leadership depth, process discipline, financial discipline, customer concentration, transferability, risk reduction, and readiness for ownership transition.
The session is intended to help owners and leadership teams identify value drivers they can influence now — whether their goal is stronger cash flow, a future transition, or long-term enterprise value creation.
At the end of this session, you’ll be able to:
- Understand how value-added revenue and fixed-cost leverage can affect profitability and cash flow in a manufacturing business
- Identify quantitative value drivers, including margin, capacity utilization, operating leverage, cash flow conversion, and contribution from incremental revenue
- Recognize qualitative value drivers, including leadership depth, process discipline, transferability, risk reduction, and transition readiness
- Apply practical next steps for building value before a succession event, ownership transition, capital event, or sale
Who should attend
This session is designed for business owners, family enterprise leaders, CEOs, CFOs, controllers, and operations leaders of manufacturing businesses who want to better understand the drivers of enterprise value, cash flow, capacity utilization, and exit or transition readiness.
