Vikki Kauffman

Overview

With over a decade of experience in accounting and tax preparation, I lead complex tax engagements for nonprofit organizations across the U.S., specializing in Form 990 compliance and IRS representation. I translate complex regulations into clear, actionable guidance that empowers mission-driven organizations—particularly in the social service and mental health sectors—to maintain compliance while advancing their purpose. My career began in public tax, focusing on high-net-worth individual returns, before transitioning into the nonprofit space, where I discovered my passion for aligning technical expertise with meaningful impact.

Beyond client service, I mentor emerging professionals and champion inclusive leadership, having helped establish belonging groups through CLA’s DEIB initiatives. Outside of work, I am a dedicated mother of two and an active contributor to Stark County’s nonprofit community. I volunteer my skills to organizations that share my values of inclusion and empowerment, and I find balance through creative outlets like spoken word and diamond art—a meditative practice that complements my fast-paced professional life.
