Vikki Kauffman

Overview

With a decade of experience in accounting and tax preparation, I specialize in nonprofit tax strategy, helping organizations navigate IRS complexities while maintaining their tax-exempt benefits. My expertise in Form 990 and 990-PF filings ensures that private foundations and nonprofit leaders avoid compliance pitfalls while strengthening their ability to serve their communities.

I began my career in public tax, focusing on high-net-worth individual tax returns before transitioning into the nonprofit space, where I help organizations meet IRS regulations and tax-exempt requirements with confidence.

Beyond tax strategy, I thrive in both structure and creativity, balancing precision with storytelling. Whether unraveling tax complexities or crafting artistic narratives, I seek meaning in the intersection of logic and imagination. I turn to fantasy books, diamond art, and book nooks to unwind, reset, and find inspiration in creativity.

As a leader in CLA’s DEIB initiative, I helped establish belonging groups, ensuring employees have a space to feel supported and valued. This work reflects my passion for authenticity, inclusivity, and creating meaningful connections.

At my core, I believe in empowering nonprofits with clear, effective tax strategies that not only ensure compliance but also support their long-term impact and financial resilience.
