Paula has over twenty years’ experience in construction accounting. Her primary experience has been with firms that perform maintenance and retrofitting projects. While working at these firms she usually wore multiple hats overseeing accounting, purchasing, human resources, IT, and business communications.  As a Controller she performed the following services – vendor negotiations, bank relations, cash management, 401K reviews, and client contract views.  She acted as the liaison between the financial lender and her firm that used asset-based lending. Paula was a hands-on manager whose past duties include AR, AP, GL, Purchasing, Collections, Cash Flow, AIA Billing, Sales & Payroll Taxes.  She also worked directly with the Insurance company to review and update General Liability, Auto & Worker Comp policies annually and as need. Did the research of locating a new insurance company when the previous firm was no longer able to handle the growth. Paula also has experience in registering a corporation as new business entity in various states as the company expanded its operations. Ensuring the corporation was setup with all state agencies and had proper insurance coverage.
