Minneapolis — December 13, 2016 — CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), a leading national professional services firm renowned for work to support home health, hospice, and community-based care organizations, and the Visiting Nurse Associations of America (VNAA), a nonprofit organization representing mission-driven home-based care organizations, today announced a strategic alliance to offer financial leadership, education, and guidance for the home-based care industry.
VNAA seeks to transform home-based care by advancing quality, value, and innovation. VNAA establishes best practices for quality improvement in home-based care, offers clinical procedures for home health and hospice providers, and demonstrates the value of care provided in the home through case studies and quantitative projects. In 2015, VNAA launched the Center for Value Based Transformation (CVBT) to guide and assist home-based care providers in the transition to new, value-based care delivery and payment models such as risk-based and bundled payment models.
CLA provides tailored guidance that supports the evolving needs of the health care industry specifically and brings a powerful combination of financial, operational, and strategic expertise. As active members in the health care field, CLA is tuned into emerging topics, such as health reform, changes in reimbursement, new regulatory requirements, and technological advances. VNAA’s strategic alliance with CLA will further expand the CVBT resources to provide professional guidance to executive, financial, and clinical executives in agencies across the country. VNAA member agencies will gain open access to on-line educational tools and resources and discounts to in-person seminars jointly produced by CLA and VNAA. Programs developed under this alliance will support agency transformation toward value-based health care delivery and payment models including performance improvement, operational management, clinical program design, and financial models for success.
