CLA Joins the Wall Street Blockchain Alliance
CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is proud to collaborate with the Wall Street Blockchain Alliance (WSBA) as a corporate member. CLA will be an active participant on WSBA’s working groups and advising CLA clients as well as the accounting industry on blockchain developments and cryptocurrency transactions impacting our markets.
“The WSBA is very pleased to have CLA join us as a corporate member, and we look forward to collaborating with them across the organization to help fuel innovation as they consistently evolve their service delivery model and consider the potential impact of blockchain technology,” says Ron Quaranta, chairman of the WSBA.
Driving innovation in the marketplace
CLA’s Future Innovations Team (FIT) is dedicated to keeping the firm on the cutting edge of new technology and disruptors that impact clients, communities, and the CLA team. With the surge of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies, FIT is taking action to elevate CLA’s knowledge in order to help meet the needs of clients and the marketplace both now and in the future.
“Our collaboration with WSBA allows us to be proactive and prepare for the advancements in blockchain technology that continue to evolve rapidly and create both opportunities and risks for businesses and commerce in the United States and abroad,” says James Watson, managing principal and FIT member.
About CLA’s Future Innovations Team
CLA exists to create opportunities for our clients, our people, and our communities. In order to do that, we have created a “think tank” called FIT which is responsible for gaining first-generation knowledge of potential disruptors and opportunities which may impact our clients or our firm. FIT promotes a culture of innovation throughout CLA and analyzes how best we can serve today and beyond.
WSBA is a leading nonprofit trade association promoting the adoption of distributed ledger technology (blockchain) across financial markets, and engaging with policymakers, industry leaders, and technology innovators to guide the conversation around blockchain and cryptoassets. CLA will collaborate with WSBA to help educate the public on the full breadth of these capabilities and create opportunities.
CLA exists to create opportunities for our clients, our people, and our communities through industry-focused wealth advisory, outsourcing, audit, tax, and consulting services. With 7,400 people, more than 120 U.S. locations, and a global affiliation, we promise to know you and help you. Investment advisory services are offered through CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors, LLC, an SEC-registered investment advisor.
