Connecting diverse networks through education, employment, and entrepreneurship is what the CLA Foundation is all about.

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP), one of the leading professional services firms in the United States, announced today that its CLA Foundation granted $650,000 to 41 organizations across the country through its summer grant cycle.

“I was thrilled to come into work this morning and welcome the wonderful news that we are receiving a CLA Foundation grant,” said Lynda Keeton, resource development manager at Connections to Success in St. Charles, MO, one of this year’s CLA Foundation grantees. “We are so excited to have been selected for funding from the CLA Foundation and want to express our gratitude to the entire team.”

The grant recipient organizations reflect the rich diversity of the communities where CLA family members live and work. The majority of the CLA Foundation grantees serve populations who have been historically underserved or underrepresented as defined by race, disability, veteran status, and socioeconomics.

“Even during uncertain times, our CLA family continues to deliver on our promise to know and help our communities,” said Jan Kruchoski, board chair of the CLA Foundation. “At CLA, we believe we are ‘better together’ and the success of the CLA Foundation is an example of that. Every dollar we raise and grant comes from a CLA family member. Together, we are creating impact focused on the opportunity gaps in education, employment, and entrepreneurship.”

The organizations funded in this cycle serve broad and diverse communities:

  • 84% focus on serving low-income populations
  • 67% focus on serving people that identify as Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, or more than one race
  • 5% focus on serving people with disabilities
  • 2% focus on serving Veterans

The grant recipients help advance diversity, equity, and inclusion and demonstrate a commitment to the CLA Foundation’s “three Es” ― education, employment, and entrepreneurship.

Since 2015, the CLA family has awarded $5.5 million through 342 grants to organizations across the country. Learn more about the CLA Foundation.
