Before we get to the post, I thought I would give you a weather update for our region. I live in the Southeast corner of Washington state and as I type this the current temperature is 106 which is cool for our region. It is 113 in the Tri-Cities right now. Our region is expected to see a high of at least 113 tomorrow, 118 on Tuesday , 116 on Wednesday and then it cools off to 107 by Sunday.
We have been in a drought since early February. The old-timers (of which I must be one of them) says this is a worst drought than 1977. I still remember harvesting 27 bushel wheat on ground that would normally yield 120 bushels that year and would be closer to 150-170 now. I could not drive the combine fast enough. This heat will wipe out any remaining yield on our dryland crops and even irrigated crops will likely be stressed.
If you would like to unenroll, you will need to either enter your current IRS login or set up a new login. This will ask you several credit related questions and in some cases, it may indicate that it can’t confirm your identity.
Remember, as we have written in previous posts, the payment of the $250/$300 per child is not an extra payment. It is essentially an advance on your 2021 income tax return. Any moneys received directly from the IRS will reduce your refund when you file the return or increase the amount owed.
