Many of you know that I started a podcast for Top Producer back in April called the Farm CPA (yes, I know that is very original).  We try to have a release every Tuesday and so far I think I have met that deadline.  The podcast is primarily a conversation with farmers but we have had various other sessions with people associated with ag.

Sara Schafer, the editor of Top Producer recently did an article on how these farmers define success.  In every session I tried to end with the question of how they define success.  I think the quick article is very interesting for their answers but there certainly is a common theme of people or community being the most important and I agree.

I would certainly recommend you take a look at the article and if you have not signed up for the podcast I would appreciate you taking a look.  It is available on Apple Podcasts as the Farm CPA.  If you do listen to it please let me know if you like it or any changes to format, etc.  I always welcome feedback.

I will be teaching a Farm Tax Update along with Austin Burby from our Madison, Wisconsin office in Sioux Falls on Thursday and then teaching the same class Monday for a CPA firm in Iowa and then Tuesday for the Iowa Society of CPAs.  This is a virtual class and open to all.

So far, this is day 3 of a 17 day trip and it is good to be back on the road.  It is even more important that I will have access to laundry over the weekend.
