W. Karl Baker Joins the Boston Office of CliftonLarsonAllen
Boston — January 28, 2013 — CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), ranked as one of the nation’s top 10 certified public accounting and consulting firms, announced W. Karl Baker, CPA, has joined the Boston office as a partner in the health care group.
Baker has more than 20 years of experience providing assurance, tax, reimbursement and financial consulting services to health care organizations. He has served clients in the following fields:
- hospitals and health systems
- physician organizations
- long term care facilities
- home care agencies
- rehabilitation agencies
- managed care organizations
- human service providers

Baker’s extensive experience also includes merger-and-acquisition due diligence, financing assistance, and Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement consulting. In addition, he consults with clients on accounting standards, budgets, feasibility studies, operations, prospective payment system, and other management issues.
Baker received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Health Care Financial Management Association, and Leading Age Massachusetts. He has presented numerous seminars and written articles for associations and other groups.
