Milwaukee — August 21, 2014 — CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) is pleased to announce that Debbie Kossow, a tax principal in the Milwaukee office, has been recognized as a 2014 Five Star Professional in the certified public accounting (CPA) category. The award is given to a select group of accounting professionals representing less than 1 percent of CPAs. Out of 2,200 area professionals, Kossow was one of 18 chosen. This is the third time Kossow has received the award.
Five Star Professional conducts research throughout the country, including surveying consumers, peers, and firms, to identify outstanding service professionals.

Kossow specializes in performing tax planning, research, and compliance for small-to medium-sized, closely held businesses and their owners. She consults with clients in areas including compensation planning, multi-state tax planning, minimization of corporate/individual tax liability, and general business advisory services. She also possesses expertise in identification and resolution of various tax issues, business entity determinations, and family business transfers.
Kossow is listed in the Five Star Professional online directory for the duration of her award year and she was honored in the July issue of Milwaukee Magazine.
