Overview
Nancy has five years of public accounting experience and specializes in auditing and accounting for nonprofit organizations, including associations, foundations, religious organizations, and social service organizations.
Technical Experience:
- Serves as lead senior auditor for a wide range of nonprofits and prepares/reviews financial statements and audit workpapers.
- Guides and oversees staff in audit and tax workpaper preparation, and manages client communications.
- Experienced in implementing key accounting standards (nonprofit reporting model, revenue recognition, leases) and preparing Federal Form 990, 990-N and 990-T filings.
Education
Bachelor of Science in Applied Statistics with a minor in Accounting from the University of Houston-Downtown
