Overview
Sahan Totagamuwa is a Managing Principal with CliftonLarsonAllen LLP. He has over 20 years of experience in providing valuation, forensic accounting and financial modeling services to a variety of privately held companies. Sahan performs valuations of businesses for numerous purposes, including tax, merger and acquisitions, private equity investment, capital budgeting, and litigation support purposes. Sahan also has provided litigation support services for numerous purposes and testified on multiple occasions.
Sahan served in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Business Valuation Committee, has served on the AICPA Case Law Task Force, and was also the “ABV Champion” for the State of Iowa. Sahan leads CLA’s Specialized Advisory Services Group.
Education
Sahan is a graduate of Drake University with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring both in accounting and finance. Sahan is a licensed CPA (in the State of Iowa and State of Wisconsin) and is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV). He is a Certified Fraud Examiner by the American Society of and Certified Fraud Examiners.

Sahan is a member of the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy, class of 2014/2015. He is also the recipient of the AICPA “Standing Ovation” honor, in 2015.
