Michael Smith is a Digital Growth Director in CLA’s Digital – Software Solutions practice, where he works closely with executive teams to evaluate, select, and implement financial and operational technology solutions that drive automation, efficiency, and better decision-making. With more than 20 years of experience working alongside leadership teams, focusing on helping organizations—particularly nonprofits, healthcare and mission-driven entities—use technology as a strategic tool to improve financial visibility, streamline processes, and support long-term growth. His work frequently includes guiding organizations through ERP evaluations, solution demonstrations, and implementation planning to ensure alignment with business priorities and reporting requirements.
Michael regularly partners with clients to assess current-state reporting, identify gaps, and develop practical, phased roadmaps for modernization, drawing on his deep experience supporting Sage Intacct and related financial ecosystems.
