Overview
April is the Compliance and Ethics Director at CLA, sharing the responsibility for overseeing the firm's independence and ethics compliance activities.
Prior to joining CLA, April worked at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants and American Institute for Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) for nearly 14 years, specializing in the setting, consultation, and enforcement of independence and behavioral ethics standards for the accounting profession. April also worked in public accounting (Ernst & Young LLP) for five years, providing assurance services mostly to clients within the biotechnology, manufacturing, and distribution industries.
April is a CPA in the state of North Carolina.
