Overview
Shekita has nearly 20 years of experience providing audit, accounting, and advisory services. She serves clients across the higher education, nonprofit, and state and local government sectors. Her technical experience includes financial statement audits, Single Audits, internal controls, compliance, reviews, and agreed-upon procedures.
Shekita is actively involved in the accounting profession and regularly contributes as a host and presenter for industry programs and educational events. Her speaking experience includes the Higher Education R3 Summit, Public Sector Seminar, Nonprofit Seminar, Nonprofit CEO/CFO Roundtable, and the Texas Association of Community College Business Officers Conference.
