Overview
Leslie currently serves as a Tax Principal, leading the firm's oil and gas industry tax sector. She serves as a technical resource across tax, audit, and advisory teams and supports clients ranging from independent operators to high-net-worth investors. Her expertise spans tax strategy and compliance, ASC 740, and financial modeling.
Prior to joining CLA, she served as Tax Director at Pioneer Natural Resources, where her tenure there exceeded fifteen years. She played a central role in the company's $60 billion merger with ExxonMobil, leading ASC 740 analysis, purchase accounting, tax compliance and tax integration. She is recognized for her technical depth, strategic leadership, and experience leading complex corporate tax functions in the oil and gas industry.
