Joe Milardo

Overview

Joe has over 20 years of experience providing accounting, auditing, and consulting services to privately held and public companies primarily in the manufacturing, distribution, retail, and consumer products industries.  Joe is responsible for clients ranging in size and structure from owner operated entities to multinational companies, ensuring compliance with GAAP and GAAS requirements.  Joe has significant experience serving the private equity community navigating complex financial accounting and reporting matters, including business combinations, divestures, restructurings, carve-outs, and impairments.

Joe strives to provide his clients a collaborative relationship through regular communication and by taking a sincere interest in understanding his client's business as well as their professional and personal goals.

During his professional career, Joe has also had the opportunity to hold positions in private industry, working as a business unit controller for a division of a fortune 100 manufacturer and an assistant controller for a publicly traded startup high tech industrial equipment manufacturer.

Joe is also part of the firm’s employee benefit plans assurance services line and has experience auditing defined contribution and defined benefit plans, including 11-K filings.
