Overview
Tanya is a principal in the financial services (credit union specialty) group of CLA. She has been providing services to credit unions for over 20 years. Her experience includes audit and supervisory committee agreed-upon procedure engagements, GAAP and GAAS issues related to credit unions, supervisory/audit committee issues, credit union tax filings, and review and evaluation of internal audit functions. Tanya also participates on the assurance committee which helps to coordinate technical updates to our audit binder and financial statement templates. She has made numerous presentations nationally and locally to credit union boards, supervisory/audit committees and management on a variety of accounting and credit union issues.
Education
Tanya graduated Summa Cum Laude with bachelors of science degrees in accounting and business administration-finance concentration from the University of Wisconsin-Superior.

Tanya is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA).
