Overview
Evan Marleaux is a Principal with CLA serving healthcare organizations throughout the Carolinas and across the country. With more than 20 years of experience, he provides assurance, accounting, and advisory services to a broad range of healthcare providers, including behavioral health systems, physician groups, continuing care retirement communities, hospice organizations, and other post-acute and specialty healthcare entities.
Evan works closely with executive leadership teams, boards, and finance departments on complex accounting and financial reporting matters, including business combinations, lease accounting, stock compensation, revenue recognition, reimbursement-related issues, and regulatory compliance. He is known for helping clients navigate challenging situations while balancing technical expertise with practical business solutions.
In addition to serving clients, Evan is actively involved in developing healthcare industry strategy, mentoring future leaders, and building high-performing teams. He is passionate about delivering impeccable client service and fostering long-term relationships built on trust, responsiveness, and a deep understanding of each client's mission and objectives.
His experience includes serving organizations ranging from emerging healthcare providers to large multi-site systems, supporting clients through audits, transactions, growth initiatives, strategic planning, and operational challenges.
