Overview
Brett is a tax manager located in the Orlando, Florida office with over 7 years of experience focusing primarily in health care. As part of the Health Care and Life Science team at CLA, he has assisted clients with tax, accounting and consulting services. His experience includes preparing business and individual tax returns in multiple states including handling a variety of interstate and international tax compliance issues. He has worked closely with the Transaction Tax team in preparation of buy-in and buy-out of partnership interest, as well as 704(c) allocations. Throughout his work, he has worked closely with entities throughout the life cycle of private equity transactions including pre-sale valuations, yearly reporting and post-sale reporting and calculations. Brett also has experience in day-to-day GAAP accounting and reporting for privately held businesses including monthly financials, payroll tax, and sales tax reporting.
