Ben Lochbihler

Overview

Ben Lochbihler is a Principal who serves construction, infrastructure, engineering, and other privately held companies. He works closely with contractors and their owners to address the complex financial, operational, and strategic issues that impact profitability, growth, and long-term success. Ben's experience includes providing assurance, tax, and advisory services to businesses ranging from regional to large, global organizations.

As a trusted advisor, Ben helps management teams navigate matters such as work-in-process reporting, revenue recognition, surety and banking relationships, ownership transitions, succession planning, and ESOP-related considerations. He takes a practical, business-focused approach, helping clients evaluate decisions from multiple perspectives while balancing operational objectives, financial reporting requirements, tax implications, and surety capacity. Ben is also a member of CLA's ESOP specialist team and has experience advising employee-owned companies.

Ben earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University. He is actively involved in several construction industry organizations, including the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), Michigan Infrastructure & Transportation Association (MITA), Construction Association of Michigan (CAM), and Ohio Contractors Association (OCA).
