Overview
Lisa is a Director in CLA’s Health Care and Life Sciences Internal Audit practice with wide-ranging experiences, including leadership roles in internal audit, controllership, and systems implementations. In addition to working with clients on Internal Control projects, Lisa spends time performing business opportunity assessments advising clients on optimal structures for people, processes and technology. She also assists clients with preparing opening balance sheets and accounting for business combinations. She has significant experience in technical accounting and financial reporting matters, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, business combinations and joint ventures. Lisa advises her clients on matters of strategic importance including acquisitions, technical accounting matters, risk assessments, internal controls, and business process best practices across a variety of industries including Healthcare, Hospitality, Manufacturing and Technology.
Education
Lisa has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Accountancy, both from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
