Overview
Steve has more than 30 years of experience in Wisconsin sales and use tax and franchise and income tax. He is a director in the state and local tax (SALT) practice in Wisconsin and provides SALT services, including strategic planning, restructuring, reverse sales and use tax audits, audit defense assistance, controversy settlement, negotiation of voluntary disclosure agreements, and letter ruling assistance. Steve has experience in the manufacturing and distribution, financial services, and professional services industries.
Prior to joining CLA, Steve was a director in the SALT practice of a Big Four firm and another national firm. His experience also includes serving as a large case field auditor for the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.
