Overview
Before joining CLA, Dakota worked for 1 year as an Assurance Staff for SobelCo prior to its acquisition by CLA. Making it CLA's first New Jersey Office. Dakota has experience working in a varitey of different industries including Employee Benefit Plans, Financial Services, Manufacturing and Distribution, Commercial Businesses, and Nonprofit audit clients.
Education
He has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware where he majored in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Management Information Systems.
In the community
Dakota is highly interested in Blockchain Technology and is a member of the Wall Street Blockchain Alliance, where he is involved in the Accounting Working Group within the organization. He is also a member of the New Jersey Society of CPAs, where he has joined the Emerging Technologies Interest Group (ETIG). The ETIG is a community of members intent on sharing and sharpening their knowledge of current and emerging technologies. In his spare time, he volunteers at the Harley's Kids Charity, where he assists Harley D. Breite in the organization of holiday parties in which 200 mentally and physically challenged persons are guests.
