As Chief Financial Officer within CLA's Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) practice, Julian leads teams of accounting professionals responsible for delivering high-quality financial management, reporting, forecasting, and advisory services to organizations across a variety of industries.
Known for building strong client relationships and developing high-performing teams, Julian partners with organizational leaders to provide actionable financial insights that support informed decision-making and long-term growth. His expertise includes financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, cash-flow management, compliance, process improvement, and strategic financial planning.
Throughout his career, Julian has helped organizations improve financial visibility, strengthen operational effectiveness, and implement scalable financial processes. He has extensive experience leading accounting functions, developing internal control frameworks, guiding budgeting initiatives, preparing executive-level financial analyses, and advising leadership teams on both short-term and long-term financial strategies.
Before joining CLA, Julian held progressive accounting and finance leadership positions within higher education, nonprofit, and private-sector organizations, where he successfully led financial transformations, improved forecasting capabilities, enhanced compliance processes, and drove measurable improvements in cash management and operational efficiency.
Julian holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Barry University. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is passionate about mentoring professionals, developing future leaders, and helping organizations translate financial information into meaningful business outcomes.
