Cody Howard

Overview

Cody Howard is an Audit Manager in the Financial Services Group at CLA. Focused on providing accounting and assurance needs of financial institutions including community banks, credit unions, CUSOs and FinTechs, he is responsible for planning and overseeing financial statement, internal audit, and consulting engagements. Additionally, he also performs agreed-upon procedures, forensic audits, and due diligence reviews for all sized financial institutions. Throughout the course of engagements, he can be relied on to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, provide financial statement preparation assistance and create reports detailing opportunities for improvement. Cody has over eleven years of experience servicing small to mid-size financial institutions across the United States, with a primary focus of his home state, Florida.

Leveraging his early career experience working in a mid-size financial institution as a teller and later as a collateral specialist, Cody brings a unique perspective to engagements. His responsibilities spanned from issuing account deposits and withdrawals, to processing title work and performing loan document reviews.
