Joshua is a Regulatory Compliance Senior Associate with expertise in compliance for financial institutions. He joined CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) in 2020 after a 23-year career in consumer finance. He began in branch operations, including managing a local branch, before transitioning into regulatory compliance, where he spent 20 years focused on state and federal requirements.
Joshua’s combined operational and compliance experience provides a practical, well-rounded perspective when advising clients. At CLA, he is part of the Financial Services Group, performing independent regulatory compliance testing with an emphasis on lending. His areas of expertise include website and advertising reviews, deposit compliance, TRID, RESPA, Regulation Z, and regulatory requirements under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
