Vivian Cha

Overview

Vivian Cha has been serving clients as a respected CPA and business advisor since 2010.  She provides tax compliance and planning for closely held businesses (partnerships, corporations, LLCs) and their owners and nonprofit organizations.

Vivian's specialty area includes but is not limited to real estate, entertainment, retail, and professional services.  She works closely with entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals to help them with tax saving strategies, tax planning, entity formation, implementation of new tax law, and succession plan.

Vivian works collaboratively with her clients' attorneys, wealth advisors and business partners as needed for seamless and efficient communication.  She also teams up with other specialty group professionals within CLA and utilizes all the resources available for her clients and helps them with cost segregation studies, R&D cost analysis, 1031 like-kind exchanges, international tax compliances, complicated trust and estate tax matters, and many other services available at CLA.

Prior to becoming a CPA, Vivian served as a controller for the construction of an automotive plant for 5 years.  She also has 8 years of experience with international outsourcing in the garment industry for well-known U.S. apparel brands in Korea. 

Vivian's invaluable experience outside public accounting provides her a unique perspective and the ability to better understand her clients.  She values client relationships and always seeks to provide great quality services to her clients.

Vivian graduated from University of Southern California in 2016 and received a master’s degree in business taxation.  Vivian is a member of AICPA and California Society of CPAs and holds a CA CPA license.
