Alex Brown

Overview

Alex started with CLA in 2011. Alex devotes 100 percent of his time serving financial institutions with varying levels of complexity, with asset sizes ranging from $250 million to over $8 billion. He focuses on financial statement audits, internal audits (including SOX and FDICIA implementation) and consulting services for financial institutions.

Technical experience:

• Supervising staff on audits and reviews of financial institutions, tax-exempt organizations, and closely held companies
• Performing SOX and FDICIA engagement testing
• Assisting with FDICIA implementation and compliance
• Performing internal audit services for financial institutions including FDICIA compliance
• Performing SOC engagements of internal controls at service organizations in the financial services industry
• Performing audits of financial institutions and closely held corporations and preparation of financial statements
