Margaret Blackburn

Overview

Margaret joined CliftonLarsonAllen as tax director in January 2017 when GALLINA LLP joined the firm. She began her public accounting career about 20 years as an Enrolled Agent providing tax services. Prior to public accounting, Margaret worked in the private industry for more than 10 years. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a partner at a small, local firm for 11 years.

Margaret's experience lies in tax planning and representation. She is responsible for consulting with individuals and businesses to minimize income tax liabilities, determine tax compliance, and preparing and reviewing income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, nonprofits, and trusts.

Margaret is dedicated to developing a personal relationship with each client. She feels that her hands on approach allows her to instill a trusting relationship. Margaret is committed to working with clients to meet their needs, and being proactive to make sure there are no surprises. In order to provide the best service, Margaret takes her time to clarify goals, develop a plan, resolve any conflicts, and consult with other advisors as needed.
