Colin Biesterfeld is a Senior Associate in CLA's Federal Tax Strategies group, where he helps clients identify and capture value through federal tax incentives and strategic tax planning opportunities.
Colin specializes in research and development (R&D) tax credits and works with companies across a variety of industries to evaluate qualifying activities, document technical projects, and support defensible tax positions. His experience includes analyzing engineering, manufacturing, software, and process improvement initiatives to help clients maximize available incentives while maintaining compliance with evolving tax regulations.
He collaborates closely with client service teams, technical specialists, and company personnel to gather and evaluate information necessary to support R&D credit studies and other federal tax engagements.
