As a principal in the professional services practice at CLA, Jason leads the Minneapolis service sector and provides comprehensive accounting and advisory services to a variety of clients in the professional services, construction and real estate. He has over 26 years of public accounting experience and holds both the CPA and CCIFP credentials.
Jason's practice focuses on delivering high-quality audit and assurance services, tax planning and compliance, financial analysis and consulting, and ERISA assurance and advisory for various types of retirement plans. He has served in a national capacity on the A&E practice management team and various other leadership roles. Jason is a frequent presenter on accounting and tax-related topics for local and national groups. He is passionate about helping his clients achieve their financial and operational goals, leveraging his extensive knowledge and expertise in the A&E and related construction and real estate sectors. He is an active member of several professional and industry associations, as well as a board and advisory member of various non-profit and civic organizations.
Additionally, Jason has extensive experience providing ERISA assurance services, consultation, and advisory for 401(k)/profit sharing plans, defined benefit pension plans, and employee stock ownership plans (ESOP).

Bachelor of accounting degree with a minor in management information systems from University of Minnesota-Duluth, Duluth, Minnesota
