Shilpa is a part of CLA's Technology and Emerging Growth Companies group. Her primary clients are VC backed and PE owned companies with global operations and she enjoys helping them navigate through unique challenges from their inception to exit. She assists companies with complex issues like:
- Choice of Entity,
- Multi-state taxation for compnanies with workforce in different location
- Impact of digital goods and services on state nexus for sales tax and income tax
- International taxation for operations in various parts of the world
- Global entities group restructuring and transfer pricing
- Mergers and Acquisition, Stock option and QSBS
- R &D Credit and Other tax incentives as applicable to start-ups and well-established companies
