Education

Tony earned a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business Executive Management Program.

Overview

Tony is managing principal with CLA Wealth Advisors and a member of the private investment committee. Previously, he served as the CEO of LarsonAllen Wealth Management, LLC, and CLA Wealth Advisors from 2001 – 2016. During Tony’s tenure as CEO, the wealth advisory business grew from three people and $100 million of assets to over 135 people and $4.5 billion of assets under management, positioning the unit as one of the top five wealth managers affiliated with a CPA firm in the country. Tony is now focused on, and responsible for, advancing the firm’s private investment, family office, and capital markets platforms. Tony is currently spending a great deal of his time leading the firm's initiatives around Qualified Opportunity Zone investments. 

In his 27 years in the financial services business, Tony has a broad range of experience, with a core strength in capital markets.

Tony understands the challenges of business and business owners from his intimate involvement in his family’s Ford and international truck dealerships before attending college.

Tony is an active member of the Personal Finance Advisory Board, which is a part of the School of Human Ecology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Tony is also a member of the Financial Planning Association. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, 65, and 24 licenses, and Minnesota Life and Health Insurance licenses. He was recognized with the Five Star Wealth Manager award by Twin Cities Business and Five Star Professional (2012–2017).
