Construction Executive magazine ranks CLA number one on their list of top construction accounting firms.
CLA has been recognized as the number one ranking construction accounting firm in the United States by Construction Executive. The list recognizes top independent construction accounting firms from across the nation.
Now in its 17th year of publication, Construction Executive is the leading trade magazine for construction businesses. In its August 2019 issue, CE published a comprehensive ranking of The Top 50 Construction Accounting Firms, featuring breakouts and analysis. Additionally, it published an article sharing the most pressing business concerns for leading accounting professionals.
CE says, “The best [CPA firms] bring balance and stability to thousands of construction companies … For this inaugural ranking, CE reached out to hundreds of U.S. accounting firms with a dedicated construction practice to see what is keeping their clients up at night.”
Rankings were determined by seven key factors:
- 2018 revenues
- Number of CPAs
- Percentage of firm’s total revenues
- Number of construction clients in 2018
- Number of office locations with a construction accounting practice
- Number of employees with CCIFP certification
- Year construction accounting practice established
CLA was also recently recognized as one of the 2019 top 10 accounting firms by Accounting Today. The publication ranks the top 100 firms annually. For the second year, CLA came in at number eight.
