Jennifer Boese will play a key role in helping the firm stay at the forefront of changes impacting reimbursement in the industry.

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), a national professional services firm, recently added Jennifer Boese as director of health care policy to its national health care practice.

Boese will join a team that focuses on bringing actionable insights to information so providers can develop strategies and implementation plans, and understand payment formulas that drive reimbursements, to position their organizations for long-term success.

As CLA continues to elevate its understanding of the payment transformation issues impacting health care providers, Boese will play a key role in research, content development, and education on emerging policy issues, as well as key payment models currently in use across the country. The firm’s belief that health care payment transformation is a continuum of activity that involves multiple policy influencers will help reshape how providers are reimbursed.

“CLA’s relevancy in the health care market requires us to understand new payment models, demonstrate and communicate our in-depth knowledge of the impact of payment transformation, and assist our clients in transitioning their organizations for success under future payment models,” says Rob Schile, managing principal.

Boese joins CLA with more than 23 years of experience in public policy and government relations. For the last 13 years, she has served as the vice president of federal affairs and advocacy at the Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA). In her role, Boese led WHA’s federal government relations program, serving as head lobbyist and advisor on key policies and legislation impacting health care providers. She alsoled the development of issues papers, presentations, and other communications on emerging health policy for health care providers and other stakeholders.

Boese has held multiple government affairs and advocacy roles throughout her career. She holds a master’s degree from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University-Bloomington.

“The addition of Jenny to our team is part of our ongoing commitment to stay at the forefront of changes impacting reimbursement,” says Schile. “Advancing our knowledge of payment transformation is one more step toward fulfilling our CLA Promise: to know you and help you.”
