The advancement of 90 professionals reinforces CLA’s promise to grow and elevate talent

This week, CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP) announced the advancement of 90 professionals to the roles of principal, signing director, and technical director, a milestone reflecting the firm’s enduring promise to invest in its people and champion career growth.

Twice each year, CLA celebrates the achievements of its exceptional team members by elevating individuals who exemplify leadership, excellence, and a deep commitment to client service. This fall’s advancement cycle is a powerful reminder CLA doesn’t just talk about opportunity — it delivers on it. Each of these advancements was effective Nov. 1.

The newly advanced principals, signing directors, and technical directors will lead client engagements, drive strategic growth, and mentor teams across CLA’s diverse service lines and industries. Their advancements, effective November 1, 2025, are part of CLA’s broader inspired careers initiative, which encourages its people to plan and chart their own career goals, creating personalized career pathways designed to help team members thrive.

New this year is the creation of the technical director role within CLA. These leaders have deep technical experience, work within a specific service line, and are recognized in the market for their technical specialty. It’s another career path designed to recognize leaders providing specific benefits outside of the traditional career designations of principal or signing director.
