Emergency Rental Assistance program

Established under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, this program allocates $25 billion across the country to assist eligible households who are unable to pay rent and utilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

CARES Act

Through the Coronavirus Relief Fund, the CARES Act provides for payments to state, local, and tribal governments navigating the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak. The CARES Act established the $150 billion Coronavirus Relief Fund.
