Mohit Nayyar

Overview

Mohit has over 12 years of experience specializing in food and beverage, agricultural, and cooperative space. His experience includes serving a broad variety of private and public companies including C and S corporations, multi member/partner partnerships, multigenerational family-owned businesses, multi-state manufacturing/distribution entities, and private equity agriculture ventures.

Mohit specializes in consulting with clients on both entity and owner tax planning matters, including tax accounting methods, tax deferral techniques, corporation and partnership tax planning, tax structuring of business acquisitions and divestitures, entity selection, tax controversy mitigation, state and local tax mitigation, and ASC 740 considerations (valuation allowance and uncertain tax positions).

Prior to serving as a tax professional, Mohit served as an audit manager and was responsible for providing wide range of auditing services to variety of industries including cooperatives, nonprofits, government, manufacturing, and healthcare. His experience includes participating in financial statement audits, in accordance with US GAAP, SSAE 16 Controls Audit, and A-133 audit/GASB Accounting.
