Overview
I began practicing as a CPA in 2004, starting out in public accounting in Indiana (2004-2008), then for my own firm in Ellensburg, Washington from 2008-2016. My career has included significant experience in financial analysis and consulting for small businesses and their owners. I began as a tax professional who did client accounting and advisory (CAAS) work when I wasn't doing taxes, but pivoted during my time at my own firm to focus on CAAS with a secondary focus on tax preparation and planning. In December of 2016. I merged my firm into CLA to avail my clients of a broader base of resources than I could offer as a sole practitioner. I had the privilege of leading and supporting the CAAS team in our Central Washington office for four years, and now I'm excited to lead the CAAS charge in our Nashville office!
