Overview
Lacey is a Tax Director in the National Exempt Tax (NExT) practice at CLA. She serves a variety of dynamic exempt organizations throughout the country, working with them to address all their tax requirements and concerns. Furthermore, she is a co-leader of CLA’s Private Foundation Tax Industry and serves as a mentor for young accountants. She is passionate about building relationships with her clients and understanding how they are helping their communities.
Lacey joined CLA in 2023 after 14 years elsewhere in public accounting firm. With over 15 years of experience focused on nonprofit tax, she has helped organizations, including private foundations and public charities from small start-ups to some of the largest in the country, meet their tax service needs. This includes federal, state, and international compliance filings; unrelated business income considerations and concerns; FIN 48 reviews; alternative investments; compensation issues; as well as a plethora of consulting topics at the federal, state, and international levels.
