Alina Mizerniuc

Overview

Alina is a Global Tax Principal within CLA's Real Estate Industry group. In this capacity, she manages the research for global tax issues, reviews individual and corporate tax returns with an international aspect, conducts new business development, mentors staff and contributes to their development.


Alina is a cross-disciplined tax manager with more than 10 years of experience in the full spectrum of public accounting. She specializes in providing tax and consulting services to partnerships, limited liability companies, individuals, businesses and their owners with a specialization in international taxation. Her background includes directly overseeing the planning, performance and review of tax engagements. Alina led the Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program (OVDP) and Streamlined Domestic and Foreign Offshore Procedures projects, as well as the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) repatriation tax projects in the Southwest Florida.

In the community

  • Alina serves on the board of directors as a Treasurer for a local non-for-profit organization, Grand Piano Series.  Their mission is to preserve, through high-quality performance, the existence of vast body of piano music repertoire, to facilitate performances, study, and understanding of classical music. 

  • Alina is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA).

  • She is a member of a local STEP chapter that serves as a hub for local forums of practitioners advising domestic and international families (and businesses) plan their assets across generations and much more.
