Peter Loftus

Overview

For over 15 years, Pete has acted as a trusted advisor to mid-sized companies, particularly within the construction and government contracting industries.  His primary focus is providing audit, review and compilation services to his clients, managing a diverse set of teams to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and with applicable reporting deadlines.

His consulting expertise includes work with engineering firms and government contractors particularly with indirect rate structures in accordance with the FAR and AASHTO guide, and accounting system design. Other areas of specilaty include DCAA pre-award accounting system audits, design and structure of indirect expense pools and cost bases and negotiation of rate agreements, cost accounting system (CAS) compliance assessement, review and/or preparation of CAS Disclosure Statement, mergers and aquisition due diligence.
